Update 14 Months PP (Tamara)

Ok, so i am posted on here way back in august i believe under 19 and insecure (tamara) anyhow..after the new year i finally said my resolution would be to get on a healthy diet and fitness program…my problem was mainly a lot of loose skin on my tummy….as for stretch marks well they cover everything except my face and feet pretty much so iv just learned to accept them…they fade more and more as time goes on…Anyhow i started doing pilates 5x a week, 40 minute sessions and i have to say after only 3 weeks i see a difference!! and i know after i start running ill see even more of a difference! so loose skin is “fixable” without all the surgery involved u just have to work at it….also want to say i admire every single woman on here…i check this site everyday cz i know theres more and more women than i think that also come out of pregnancy with battle scars and its ok…its all apart of being a mommy!!! you all are such an inspiration!! the first pic is of me now..the second is my son…and the last two are my stomach now….

Hey are you doing home DVD pilates or at the gym? I would love to get into Pilates but my gym offers horrible times and only like 1x a week. You are a beautiful woman! I admire you for trying to work on yourself without surgery because surgery is something I have thought about for sure. You have given me inpiration to do it on my own. My kids are 5 & 3 so I’ve been working on this for a while on and off. I’m about 5’3″ and 140 and would love to get down to at least 130-125!

I remember your post as it really struck a chord with me as you seemed so unhappy and yet you struck me as so beautiful. Such a pretty girl and with such a lovely baby. Anyway, I’m really glad you tried pilates and that it is helping – it made a huge difference to my twin tummy and after six months of sessions the results were huge. So keep going. Every week you do pilates the changes happen. They say a month of pilates helps and two months is great but after three months you’ll have a different body and you’re really proving that! And that’s just three weeks in.

All I can say is that you’ve done SO well – you look fantastic. I can barely see your stretchmarks and your stomach is getting really toned – you can see it all coming together and I’m really pleased for you. Your story is really inspiring.

Hey mama. You look great! My tummy looks JUST LIKE THIS! except Im brown skinned and my stretch marks are dark brown. I have a 4 month old son… and I hope to regain my figure as well very soon! Im 21… and dont worry, these are our mommy tattoo’s… and its the most beautiful artwork that could have ever been drawn on our bodies… I love my stretch marks. I never had any before my son and Im happy that I have something to remind me of the time he lived inside me.

Wow, good for you mama!! I just commented on your older post b4 realizing you had this one. It’s awesome to hear you sound so positive and realistic- knowing that you can make a change and get results instead of thinking the worst… So cool, that makes me feel better about what I’m most likely facing from my pregnancy (I’m 36wks first baby) I’ll post here soon after baby :) Again, you look great and it makes me more relieved about what i’ll be going through soon!
