My Mommy Body (Anonymous)

I am a mother of two toddlers. I had them 19 months apart, and my oldest is 3 years old. I maintained a weight of around 105 to 110 lbs pre pregnancy. I am now at 93 lbs, but that is mostly due to stomache problems. I rarely work out, but put alot of energy into playing outside with the kids everyday. I do however, feel more comfortable in my body than I ever have. I have more self-esteem, and feel like more of a woman having birthed two children and breastfed.

    You look great and I relate to your comment about feeling more womanly after giving birth and breastfeeding – it’s amazing how that changes a woman’s point of view about herself.

    you look beautiful!!! i wasnt that skinny before i got pregnant! you look amazing. did you hang on t o any weight imeediately afterwards?? i guess i wanna know, did you pop back into your old clothes or did it take a little bit??

    Well, after my first child it took over six months to lose my extra weight. I gained 60 lbs with each pregnancy. After my second, I began to work out, and was back to pre child weight within 3 months. I have not been working out at all for a little over a month now, and my son is 18 months.
