I saw this self portrait submitted to our Flickr Group and I loved it right away. Days later I still could not get it out of my head so I begged Denise Perri to let me post it here and she gladly consented. Not only is it a simply stunning photograph, but it speaks volumes about exactly what this website is about. Thank you, Denise. So much.

That photo is unbelievably beautiful!
Wow.
Amazing. One of the best photos I’ve seen!
Wow! I’ve never seen anything so beautiful! My breasts actually do the same thing when I lay down–and I’m still breastfeeding. They’ll look very similar to this. I’m glad. It’s a stunning testament to the beauty of motherhood!
Ohhh Bonnie!
Thank you!
No begging necessary,
I was honored.
:)
Thank you, Autumn, as well.
:)
Yay!
:)
the most gorgeous pic i’ve ever seen on this site!!
The way her little hand is squishing Mama’s soft belly!
It’s perfect, I love it. It makes me feel proud instead of ashamed, somehow.
Well done, Denise – and thank you.
Just beautiful!! Thank you for sharing with us.
Just lovely!
My son loves my belly, too! I must admit, it’s very nice and soft and squishy! lol
this picture just shows what we go through and why we do it all in one. it is so beautiful. It’s making me practically tear up how meaningful it is just to motherhood itself.
i could look at this photo all day. it really touches me… it’s perfect.
All of your very kind words
are
very
greatly
appreciated.

Sweet Travels :)
my heart just skipped a beat…
I love this image, because it depicts, so beautifully, the sacrifices we make for our children.
I’m 29 years old and 21 weeks pregnant with my first child. Looking at this picture I experienced an emotional dichotomy. I’m fearful, yet proud that my body can provide life. I’m joyful, yet afraid that my body will never look the same. I am eager, yet longing for my figure back.
I know that once I see my baby boy for the first time these feelings shall pass and maternal instinct will set in. Then, I too will have a picture of my beautifully reshaped body to share, too.
Lovely image – it should be public on flickr so everyone can see it.
Well done.
Absolutely beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes!
