Awesome Husband (Halley)

May 26, 2010

My husband is currently working on an Art degree and for one of his assignments he had to draw a live person, and that person was me. At the time he drew these it was my first pregnancy and I was probably about 8 or 9 months pregnant. These really helped me boost my self esteem and helped me see how he saw me, I thought I would share them with other some moms.
~Age: 23
~Number of pregnancies and births: 2/2
~Age of children and how far postpartum: 14 months/5 weeks, five weeks postpartum

Your husband captured a beautiful full sized woman at a beautiful moment in her life. Congrats on your children. I pray they be healthy and happy.

Gorgeous pictures! What a talented hubby! :D My hubby is very artistic, too. I was thinking of having him draw me nude, too. It would be fun and interesting! If I draw up the courage, I’ll share the pictures here, too. :)

these are so gorgeous! (both the talent and the subject!)
i was an art major too, and figure drawing has always been one of my favorites. i wish my husband was talented in this area too… it would be so comforting to be able to see drawings like this during moments of self-doubt.

    thanks for sharing!

Those are awesome! you look like the victorian woman in older, classic paintings! Very womanly and lovely. Thank you for sharing and congrats on the healthy, happy family!
