I’d like to add on or submit a new story for your site. I already have an entry here.
Since then, I have had one more baby. She was born via-emergency cesarean and I now have a vertical scar. Willow’s birth story is featured here. I have attached the most recent picture of my new belly.
Amazing birth story. So happy you and your baby girl made it. My 1st 2 children were cesareans and my 3rd was a VBA2C. I was terrified of rupture, I almost went for another cesarean…sometimes I wonder if I should have (tore very badly!). You and your baby are miracles. Oh, and did I mention that you look amazing!!!! You are so thin! Congrats Mama.
Beautiful!!
Elizabeth thank you so, so much for this amazing post amazing to read about Willow’s birth it had me in tears. I too had a c-section delivery that started as a home birth and it was upsetting to have to transfer but I am now proud of my birth story and I get a huge feeling of upliftment when I walk by the building my daughter was born in. Even though she didn’t arrive they way I imagined she would I will never forget the feeling of power and beauty when she was lifted up for me to see her.
You are so brave as is Willow. It’s wonderful that you are both safe and sound and thriving. Heart breaking the pumping milk at home not being able to be skin to skin with your babe, but you made it though and can;t imagine how exquisite it must have been to take her home with you!
Thank you! I am having trouble accepting my new belly (i’m 6 months post partum) but you have reminded me the miracle of birth and that of my own baby girl. :)
I loved your story! You have been through a lot, and I’m glad everything turned out okay. I love your pregnant picture on the beach. You are very beautiful.
