Three years after 2 c-sections in two years, big babies (Anonymous)

I was completely unprepared for the level of abdominal damage (skin and muscle)incurred by pregnancy, and devastated by the ragged, pushed-in scar I was left with. This site is so important – it would have been so much easier to come to terms with my “disfigurement” if I had understood that I was not the only person this had ever happened to…or even…dare I say it…that it is typical.

anonymous, you have absolutely no stretch marks (that I can see) and your scar in in the natural curve of your body. My caesarian scar has caused dinting and I hate it, it is low down in my pubic region and isnt in the natural curve of my body. Your scar will fade (bio oil) and if you are not happy you can always have corrective work done. I know what you mean though, its a shame some doctors dont care what we get left with sometimes

    Hello,

This is going to seem weird. But after my c-section, I lost a good amount of weight. I even went under my pre-pregnancy weight. I pumped breat milk for 3 months. After 6 weeks, I went back onto my Depo-Provera (injuection) birth control. Now my son is 5 and 1/2 months old. I have started gaiing weight quite a bit. the numbness h also gone away. Last month, I had cramps one night like my cycle was going to come. (on Depo, you don’t get one.) Does this weight gain happen happen or is it actually posible that I am pregnant again? I was told that the numbness never goes away. The stretch marks are fading quite well, too. When I tough my belly the inicision feels hard and when I stand up and touch the upper part of my belly it feels a little hard but when I sit down it’s jiggly.Am I being overly analytical or is it possible to become pregnant this soon again on birth control and could these be symptoms?
