I am 22 years old, just had my first baby 3 months ago. I went from being very skinny my whole life, to having some volume added to my body. I don’t mind the extra weight, but I do mind my belly (look like im 3 months pregnant again), and my breasts (they used to be perky and beautiful, now they look like a used, saggy balloon) I didn’t get any stretch marks until the day before I had my son. Everytime I have sex with my boyfriend I think about my gross body, it doesn’t help that my stitches from the episiotomy hurt like hell when doing it. My boyfriend tells me how much he loves my body now and everyone else tells me I look better with the weight, its not that I care about, its the belly, breasts, and stretch marks… my vagina doesn’t look the same either. I cant wear a bikini anymore… I barely look in the mirror anymore. I know I just need to tell myself that theyre battle wounds. I hate the way I look now, but I wouldn’t take it back… I have my son and hes all I need <3 ~Age: 22 years old ~Number of pregnancies and births: 1 pregnancy and 1 birth ~The age of your children, or how far postpartum you are: 3 months & 1 week [gallery]

I too was very skinny all my life until i had my daughter. I love my curves cuz they make me feel like a woman. Your belly protrudes like mine, which is called diastasis recti. Its basically muscle separation which happens alot in pregnancy due to the growth of the baby and your uterus. You can have a doctor check it for you or you can do a check yourself. I was diagnosed by my doctor about when i was 15 months pp, and then really researched it after that. I am 23 months pp and have been using the Tupler Rehab Splint and doing the Mummy Tummy exercises. It can be corrected which is a good thing!! I think you look good, those marks will fade and you will begin to regain self confidence, just believe in yourself like we all believe in you!!

Sweetie you are ONLY 3 months postpartum. Give it another 3-4 months of healing time. I was skinny (110 lbs) my whole life. At one year postpartum im 120 and love it! Those stretchmarks will fade, don’t worry about it. And I can so relate to postpartum sex that hurt like hell. Try olive oil for a lubricant and experiment with positions to minimize pain. In few months the area should toughen up some. Bottom line is 3 months is nowhere near enough for full recovery after giving birth. Time does wonders.

You need to give yourself some more time! You are only 3 months PP. I didn’t lose all the weight until I was 11 months PP! And my body looks a bit different than before I got pregnant but it’s not that big of deal. Your stretch marks will fade ( no they won’t totally go away but they will become less noticable) and your stomach will keep shrinking.

Oh no sweetie- I am six mths third child, it took the six mths to feel back to normal and lose the weight with plenty exercise and diet. That is nothing, I know it’s something to you, but you look so good for three mths. Please don’t worry. I know it’s hard, I have been there, but you look great and perfect and just three mths? no worries!!!

I don’t think you have diastasis recti – I think it’s just fat, that we all accumulate on our belly during pregnancy. My belly looks similar and I am 4 months PP. It’s going away but slowly. I have 4lbs to lose and they took a residence on my lower belly and waist. If you’re worried, you can start a exercise regimen to lose those extra lbs.

You look amazing!!! I have stretch marks exactly like yours and now at 18 months postpartum after my second baby they are really really faded!!! Three months is way too soon to be judging your body! With both of my kids, I felt like it took about a year before everything started looking back to “normal”. You look great. Don’t stress.

You look fantastic/sexy I wouldn’t worry one bit and trust me I’m not just trying to make you feel better. You are only 3 months pp and you already look that good. Give it a little more time and you will be back to normal

Sex doesn’t have to involve penetration; until everything is feeling healed and less tender it could be a fun time to explore some different ways of being intimate with your guy.

I know how tough it is; I was 22, tiny wee frame, huge baby…Because I walked everywhere with baby in a carriage and breastfed, my little belly went. You might not see this but try to focus on how many commenters have said you look great. Your belly is sexy!!! Dress it up, wear a gypsy coin belt, show your power. That body did something increible.
