I got pregnant at 16, had my baby boy at 17. I didnt quite realise how much my body would change. I wish I had more respect for myself before when I used to think I didnt look nice. Compared to what my body is now, I looked like a model then! This is my stomach now, 2 months after having my baby. And I have to say, I hate what I look like, but this site is really helping me overcome it, so thankyou!
wow. I didnt realise quite how ugly I was. I saw it and nearly burst out into tears. what a mess.
Looking at that picture I thought I was looking at my own stomach ! Even the belly button ring and the way it sags. Wow, that is crazy you are like my stomach double ! I had my daughter young too (18) and I wish I had enjoyed my prebaby days belly more !
You look beautiful and you have a miricle in your arms! Don’t be down on your self, you look like a beautiful mother, who nourished and cared for a baby in her womb. It is a small price to pay for such an amazing blessing, even though I understand that it can be hard sometimes. God Bless.
you’re stomach looks gorgeous. i think stretchmarks are pretty, so to me your stomach is just beautiful.
your stomach looks similar to mine(i’m also a young mom, i had my son a week after i turned 18), but it looks practically indentical to my son’s aunt’s. she was also a young mom(she had her daughter a little after she turned 15).
don’t be so hard on yourself. you really do look fantastic.
Like you I had my son when I was 18 and like you I suffered from stretch marks. I think you look amazing, I wish I had your flat belly. Unfortunately I ended up with a pouch which always made me look like I was at least 2 months preggo..lol.
They are actually looking alot better than that now! I still dont like how I look obviously but Im happy with the results!
Im only using moisturiser every day but there is a big difference compared to that pic! That was only around 3-4 weeks ago!
Ill *try* and get some updated pics up soon!
In the mean time Im gonna get some fake tan and try to hide them even more!
2 months after having your baby you look like this? Wow..wish I had that belly. I was a teen mom too (still mom, no teen anymore:p) and I felt I had the belly of a 40year old after 2 pregnancies. The shape of your belly is still really teenage. Don’t worry about the stretchmarks, they will fade and become softer overtime, especially when you get a little tan.
I hope you don’t think this sounds crazy… but from a purely aesthetic perspective, my first reaction was that the symmtery, the curves, the shading of color, the delicate mottling, and the lovely ornamentation… is beautiful. That’s of course looking at purely as an *object* and not as a stomach which we all know is *supposed* to be flat and smooth. “Supposed” is the key word here. Subjective. Relative. Created. Conditioned. Your judgment of your body is a state of mind that you have accepted because others accept it. Not because it’s good for you or because it’s objectively true. Consider that it’s only one mental perspective, and that you can step outside of it and adopt another if you like. This is a body that deserved to be loved, by you and by your lover. Not only because it is human, but because it is lovely.
well i never know what to say! as at the moment im 15 and im expecting my baby in oct…
the doctors tell me to eat more but i already look like a hipo
and my stretchmarks are no that bad but you can really see them.
im never going to get back into shape if it keeps growing.
any help i would be thankful
My strechmarks look very similar to yours. I was a teen mom too…I had two by the time I was 20 years old. I still have more fat than you do though! :) I am working on it though. Don’t worry, they will fade…
I’m 17 and 12 weeks pregnant. I’ll have my baby about two months before i turn 18. i’m 113 lbs, and 5’8. i know my body is going to change. you’re so brave. because of your gorgeous mommy tummy, i’m not scared to show mine off afterwards too.
I think thas a really cool lookin pic:)
