Why are there no WOC in your header?
Because these are pictures I have taken myself and these are the women that showed up to the event. I publicized as well as I could at the time. I still struggle with being able to reach as many folx and the diversity of folx that I would like to be an ally to. I need to learn how to be better at this and it is my goal to do so. However, at this particular moment in time I am pretty badly disabled and barely able to work (which is why it’s taken me more than a month to respond to this comment! yikes!).
Please do not think I am complacent. Please do not think I am making excuses. As an ally I try to always grow and be better, and I understand that I must own my failings.
