I gave birth to my 9lb 3oz son nearly 15 months ago now.. I was roughly 70kg (154lbs) pre pregnancy. During my pregnancy I did no exercise and I ate take away most days, getting up to 94kg (206lbs). Everyone told me i looked “healthy”, which I know think was just a nice way of saying i’d stacked on the weight. After giving birth I dropped down to 80kg and in the next 9 months my weight loss stalled and I was stuck at 76kg. 7 months ago I decided to make a big change… I started watching what I ate, how much I ate and when I ate.. I also made time to fit in at least 30 mins of exercise a day. I am now 57kg (125lbs), smaller than I’ve ever been and so proud of my hard work. I wish I’d taken better care of my body before becoming pregnant, but I am beginning to be more comfortable in my skin and appreciate what my body has gone through. I developed stretch marks on my tummy, breasts, thighs and even butt but only in the last two weeks (I was 2 weeks overdue!) and my stomach has some loose skin but I love my son more than anything and I would do it all again for him.
Whoo-hoo! You look GREAT!! Congratulations on the hard work – the effort most certainly paid off. Your son is adorable, and you’re a hot mama!
You look fantastic! Just beautiful. I thought for a second someone had taken a picture of my own breasts. I’ve look very similar–small breasts and stretchmarks. It’s completely worth it. And your little man is completely adorable! I’d love to give those cheeks a big kiss!
your an inspiration.. and you look totally amazing. I dont know what you mean about stretch marks though because i really cant see any. , my goal weight is 58 kilograms. I wen up to 86 when i was pregnant and dropped down to 74 after the baby and now 6 months post partum i currently weigh 70. so im getting there but i would dream to be where your at right now! i’m really looking at you thinking how truely great you look especially after such a big baby! and he’s sooooo adorable!
You are so amazing. These pictures just stunned me… your body looks Useful. Not a prop to be stared at in magazines, but a beautiful healthy body capable of running and laughing and mothering a cute baby.
Congratulations on your health and child.
Fantastic for you… I completely understand the hard work and dedication you have put in… You look outstanding…
my wife has done the very same thing…. (hope you don’t mind a comment of a husband)
topped 200# and now is below 130#
She’s 33 and has given birth to two fantastic girls (6.5 & 2)…
her only complaint is… she can’t keep up with the clothes….
I must admit, I loved my wife when she was larger… being a butt/hip guy.
Don’t get me wrong love her just as much now…
Just less to love. (she went from 54″ to 37″ hips)
…For the record…
I love the (all) Shape(s) of a Mother
congratilations on your dedication and hard work! it paid off, you look fantastic and so does your baby!!
i am 7 months pregnant and i have put on 39 pounds so far… i was a bit scared of what my body may become after i give birth to my son, but looking at you i know that is possible to be more than ok with your looks if you just work hard and be aware of the fact that your body will never be the same, but it can look nice after a baby.
Good luck and keep it up!
My pregnancy story is quite similar to yours – 71 kgs pre-pregnancy (though overweight, i was quite fit) and had to be on complete and total bed rest from 20 weeks (i was diagnosed with grade 4 placenta previa – a potentially fatal condition for mother and child. i was 86 kgs when i went in for my c-section, i had a healthy and baeautiful 2.8 kg baby boy, i weighed 83 kgs the next day, and my weight varied between 77 and 78 kgs from 2 weeks PP. i am now 14 weeks PP and still weigh the same. I breastfeed, i joined work 6 wks PP,i kind of watch what i eat (really lol), but my weight refuses to go down even a gram. here’s where YOU come in – you are now officially my inspiration. if you can do it, i at least owe it to myself to try harder. You are amazing. thanks so much for posting.
Amazing , you have a perfect body.
