3 Weeks Postpartum Baby #2 (Anonymous)

I got loads more stretchmarks this time round but I don’t mind them. I am amazed how fast my stomach is getting flatter, I think breastfeeding is helping but it is very flabby and there is no muscle tone whatsoever, also when I bend forward it is very wrinkly. I really love this site it helps me to remember that I am normal!!!

I remember my body being like that after I gave birth to my first… squishy is the way I described it actually… However, I think you look really good for being 3w PP and are ‘bouncing back’ quite nicely! I hope I am that lucky, as I am pregnant with #2 at the moment.

Breastfeeding helped my tummy get flat fast, too. The stretchmarks will fade. Congrats on your brand new baby!!! How exciting!!!

    You look wonderful!!

One of the things that I love the most about this site is that even when I see a mom with 3 kids who looks perfect in her clothes still has the beautiful road map of childbearing underneath.

May I ask a question? What is the black thing that you pushed down? Is it some sort of control garment? I could have used one after my first baby… My muscles were all squishy and I could’ve used the support. I felt like I had no muscle tone at all! It comes back fast, though. Don’t worry!

You look awesome!!! This is my first pregnancy and while I’ve gained mostly in my belly and I’m planning on breastfeeding I’m very nervous about getting my body back. Cngratulations on your new baby!

I’m three weeks postpartum also. I’m feeling the same way about my belly too (this was my second baby). I’m breastfeeding and I hope it helps! It is nice to know that there are others feeling like I do too. My son is beautiful and worth all of it though!
