I really loved this website when I came across it. It is great to see what real moms look like not what the media makes up feel like we should look like. I gained 40 pounds with my son but have since lost all the extra weight but my body will never be the same. Even though I weigh less then I did before I had him I now have a little belly and loose skin on my stomach as well as a nice c-section scar and strech marks from breasts to my inner thighs. My breasts are quite a bit saggier then prepregnancy as well but whenever I look in the mirror and don’t like what I see I try to remember what a great thing I got to go along with all my new imperfections.
You look really beautiful! I wish I had your legs! You’re quite stunning! :)
Don’t be too hard on yourself, I think you look wonderful! And I would kill for your legs.
I’d love to have legs like yours! I’m very petite and bottom-heavy, so my legs are (I think, anyway) like tree stumps! My belly looks a lot like yours too, only mine is a little poochier because I’ve put on weight in the last two years or so. At any rate, I think you look great!
I would KILL for those legs!!! You look great!!!
you are beautiful everywhere, inside and out. But since I have hated my legs since 5th grade I too would love you legs!!!! I am someone who had saggy boobs, stretch marks, etc from an early age despite not being overweight at that time. Now i feel better knowing i have something to show for my crazy body, but it can be hard when I see you or my sis, who has had 4 kids! look better than me.
To those who left comments about Stephanie’s legs, it seems to me that comments like “I would kill for those legs” or even”I wish I had those legs” perpetuate the idea that great looking legs are a prize worth having. The idea of this website, I thought, is that we would NOT “kill” to have “perfect” body parts, but rather we love ourselves just the way we are. Can we try and look deeper and celebrate the magnificence of the human body, in all it’s appearances.
