After delivering my first son I was so upset by all the stretchmarks. In time they did fade but the indentations remained. With my second pregnancy I carried 3 weeks longer and did get a few new ones but it was far less devistating this time around. I am back to my prepregnant weight and feel pretty good about myself. Sure there is room for improvement but I have nurtured two beautiful children through pregnancy and nursing (2 years with the first and 5 months so far with the second). I delivered the second at home with a midwife and I have done what my body was designed to do. My body may never look like those we see in magazines or like those of women who have never had children, and I am okay with that. I AM A MOTHER and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
You are beautiful,girl!
I like the “magazine” comparison! I had to laugh, it looks like a breeze came by and the boobs just floated up! :-)
Wow, the 4th picture looks just like my tummy. I’m glad I can find some common ground. Love it!
You look wonderful!
I love the magazine comparison, too. And it’s SO TRUE, too.
I love your story. I’m so proud of you for nursing your children and birthing them at home. I’d never do the latter, but I’m at 20 months with breastfeeding my daughter. You look gorgeous and you sound like a wonderful loving mother! Congrats!!!
LOL love the photoshop work! ;) You’re SO right! It’s hard to remember that sometimes, but magazines AREN’T REAL! You look gorgeous! :)
LOL, I do the same thing with my tummy, that you’re doing in the 4th pic. And personally, I think the before photo in the “magazine propaganda” shot is MUCH better than the ridiculous doctored one! The fake one is just ridiculous.
Kuddo’s to you!
I think you have the perfect body, seriously. You look amazing.
You really have an amazing body. Amazing breasts!
Wow. You have a beautiful body! And it looks like mine, actually (:
Great abs!! I love your tattoo also! I wish I had boobs like yours!
These are my pictures. Thank you all for the wonderful comments. I wasn’t sure you would be able to see it in the pictures, but if you look at the third picture – above my right breast, you can see a heart made from the lovely veins that are so prominent during pregnancy and nursing. I look at it daily and smile because it is a reminder of how full of love my life is since having children.
I made the photoshop ridiculously exaggerated on purpose to show an extreme of what can be done with some photo doctoring. Sure I wish my breasts were perkier and my tummy trimmer but I honestly hope I never look like a Barbie Doll.
girl you look amazing! did you workout alot after you had your babies or did you just bounce back to shape? you look great.
You look WONDERFUL!!!
Just simply beautiful!!!! And the photoshop pics, are halarious, I just wish everyone would realize, every picture you see in mags were photoshop pics….everyone in this world has somewhat of a flaw, but everyone is beautiful in their own ways too!! Your amazing!! Thanks for sharing this!!
you look amazing!! i like your body more then the photoshopped version! thats a real woman :)
Whoa! That’s your body 4 1/2 months PP? no way… you look great!
Photoshopped version is so unreal, so obviously fake.
You are so beautiful! Just put a smile on my face! That is the way I feel too. Being a mother is the greatest feeling I have ever know. Life without my son? I wouldn’t know how to live. All I am is MOTHER. Asher’s Mother.
Wow….you are beautiful. Honestly. Absolutely stunning.
i almost couldnt tell which one was photoshopped! i prefer the non-photoshopped one!!! (altho u did a good job with it) u look amazing and have an amazing attitude!
