    Congrats on your children!

To answer your question, you may have a diastasis, or a separation between your abdominal muscles. Most postpartum women do to some degree. Read up on the Tupler Technique: https://diastasisrehab.com/

Seconding the advice above but also wanted to say, don’t worry and don’t be so hard on yourself. 5.5 months after twins – even if they were small – is still pretty recent, and c sections are hard on the abdominal muscles! I think you look great! I’m sorry you have to deal with rude people – even if they mean well, they are being inconsiderate of your feelings. Keep up the good work!

hi there, I’m a twin mom too. my boys were big…both over 7 lbs. when they were about 6 months old i realized that my tummy was not going to go down anymore and i too had some people politely asking when my baby was due (ugh). i’ve since lost 20 lbs and use a Squeem girdle every day. as I’ve lost weight, i’ve gone down a size in girdle. i have noticed a huge difference in my belly, have lost several inches and will post updates to my own story here once i’ve lost a few more lbs. i think i had a diastasis too and the girdle has helped hold it in so it could heal. i’ve done no special exercises beyond walking. good luck!

oh…my boys are 10 months now so i’ve been wearing the girdle and losing weight for 4 months to get to where i am now.
