Age:19
Pregnancies: 2, ages 2 1/2 and 1
Hey there! I am a young mom of two girls on the path to be healthy and feel comfortable in my own skin. After I had my first I was pregnant again my 9 months pp, my body did not snap back from my first and was even worse after my second. I gained over 50 lbs with both. I want to tone up and try to love myself again. Could this skin look better if I tone up? Will it tighten up anymore? Did anyone’s breasts tighten back up more after breastfeeding. Looking for hope moms out there thanks :)
Honestly, I think you look pretty great for having two little ones back to back. It’s not easy. I’m 7 months out & I was on rest for 20 weeks due to placenta previa. I gained all my weight in the last tri, had a big baby, went nearly 2 weeks overdue (and then stretchmarks!), c section, and while my daughter is happy, and healthy, I am having a hard time being happy with my body. But I aldo want to be a good role model for her as you do as well. There’s measures that doctors can do, but there’s also strength training programs which can help with keeping things strong (& yes, help with lax skin) and with toting around kids! I know it’s hard to be happy with yourself, especially when you are used to your body looking one way, but honestly, your body has done an amazing job, twice!
I was 112lbs before my son, ended up gaining 60lbs during pregnancy with him. After he was a few months of age I decided it was time to stop being depressed about how I looked & take action by starting to eat healthier & working out a few days out of the week. I will say working out helped tighten & tone alot ! & even before I seen results it made me feel better about myself all together. Good luck momma on your journey to loving the way you look again & just an FYI you do look great after 2 kids ! But I know its all about feeling good about yourself ?
I’ve got a hangy belly too! That’s a fun one, eh?
You have a killer figure!! So lovely and feminine. I think over time things will tighten up a bit, but our bodies are forever changed by pregnancy. I know it’s hard but hopefully once you start accepting yourself as you are, you’ll then be able to love and embrace your womanly soft curves. You’re hot mama! Own that!
First of all, you look amazingly good! Guaranteed you are judging yourself more harshly than anyone else would. I think the fact that you are young will help your skin regain elasticity. Although I was older than you when I had my kids, I still saw improvement once I was finished breast feeding. It really takes time to get your body back. It will likely never be exactly the same, but it will keep improving. Keep working out and you will tone up, but also remember to cut yourself some slack.
Mariah what workouts did you do?!
Thanks!
