Trying to Cope (Claire-Bee)

ok so I’m a 24yr old mother of two, a 3 1/2 yr old and a 21month old. Both c-sections and both almost 10lbs each. It has been a rough journey to start. I was a size 9 with amazing abs. With my first I tried every cream on the market still got stretch marks. Bad ones they bleed towards the end. Now 21 months postpartum and working out like crazy, I realize those abs I once had will never show again. Just saggy stripped skin. I’m trying to be happy everyday that bathing suit season approaches but its hard knowing at 24 I’m going to be stuck in a one piece all summer. Good think my babies are healthy and beautiful, probably what gets me through.

* I have my 30in waist pre-pregnancy picture.
*my first pregnancy 38 weeks along with hubby
*my second pregnancy 39 weeks along with hubby and daughter
* my current 21month postpartum belly. 15lbs from my before weight.

    Your belly is very similair to mine. When i got pregnant i was 120 at 5′ and when i gave birth i weighed 150. I have lost all of my weight but my belly is left with saggy, extra skin, LOTS of stretch marks and no belly button. This is my first pregnancy and no c-section. SO i ma afraid of whats to come :). But you look great. I am glad you posted because i have felt alone.

    Your belly looks a lot like mine. It is the house our babies lived but it is still hard to look down and see how different our shape is. I love my babies too. My obgyn said some woman get fat ontop rather than underneath and it is a lot harder to rid and shape, regardless of that skin is what it is and we have to love ourselves. Find the beauty in what you are and see and decided you are a work of art. I just embraced my scar recently. The scar from my two urgent csections is thick and hard and they had to actually cut my right an muscle up. It hurts on that side as I try to strengthen it. My babies are 3 and 10 months.
