I am 22 years old this is me 4 months postpartum. Before I was pregnant I was Small and petite 5”1″ and was 95lbs. I gained over 50 pounds during this pregnancy even though I worked out just about every day. I am now around 125lbs I feel fat and just really unattractive with this body.My stomach is really loose and jiggly. My boobs are a cup size bigger but are kind of deflated a bit. I work out just about everyday and still cant seem to get this weight off.Which is depressing.I do have pretty bad stretch marks on me but I actually don’t mind them so much.I’m really happy that my fiance still loves my body and is still attracted to me.He is great! Thanks for reading this.
It’ll go away…It took me 9 long months of working out and eating healthy…Make sure you watch everything you eat…Even things we think are healthy for us can pack on a lot of calories…I lost 61 pounds! It was hard work…But at 4 months I still had 24 pounds to lose…I started at 5’6″ 136 pounds…Ended at 196…YIKES! Trust me, with the more weight you lose the more your skin will heal and those marks will fade…Enjoy your baby…Go for walks…It seems the more we workout the more we want to eat…So when you eat, eat well!! Congrats!!! Being a mommy is wonderful isn’t it!?!
Can I just say I would be damn proud of that body of yours :)
You look great, especially for just having a baby!!!
we could be twins my tummy looks exactly like yours. honestly im starting to become comfortable with the way i look PP, partly to my loving husband. keep up the good work and it will pay off :)
You look powerful and gorgeous! Think of it this way: You are a very healthy weight, are in great shape, and are thus doing everything healthy you can for your body (assuming you eat good things as well.) :) So therefore, there’s simply a different arrangement of some connective tissues than before your pregnancy because hey! That’s why our bodies are flexible and adaptable; so they can change. but you’re healthy and that change in arrangement is just like taking out all the M&Ms out of a bag, mixing them around, and putting them back in. :)
You look amazing to me! If that’s you at 4 months pp, you are well on your way. Girl, those marks fade with time…you already have shape…keep it up! :)
It has only been 4 months and you already look amazing! Remember 9 months on and 9 months off!
You look beautiful! Keep your chin up! You literally *just* had a baby. I’m glad you posted these pictures because now you’ll be able to see the difference that time can make. I lost weight even up until recently–3 years postpartum. There is time yet. Your body has been through quite a bit and it is STILL healing! I read somewhere that it takes around 3 years for a woman’s body to recover post-pregnancy and I completely believe it. Three years PP and I’m feeling like myself again. It takes time. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. :)
You are looking fine at 4 month postpartum.
It can be frustrating, but for many of us it takes some time to get back to pre-pregnancy shape. I’m also small and gained 55lbs. It took me a year of regularly exercising to get almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight (I returned completely back to my pre-pregnancy size after my daughter was weened at 15 months). I also had the jiggly stomach, but that tightened up over time – now just a little loose skin remains.
You look good, mama. Be patient with yourself:)
Your body and mine are practically dead on! It will get better as time goes on also. You look great! It’s funny because I don’t like my body (and I’m 1 year, 3 weeks PP now) but when I look at your body I think it looks good!
Your body is just slighty better than mine probably because you do exercise everyday. But I think you look great and your stretch marks arnt that visible! Im 6months pp now and mine are still adeep purple colour! Im trying my best to incorporate exercise in my daily routine to get that “jelly belly” more flatter, but I guess it just takes time! And you have to have patience to see the results. Well good luck into getting back to your pre-pregnancy look :)
