The hardest part of dealing with my postpartum body? For me is the bipolar-ness of it all. I gained 52 pounds while pregnant with my daughter, and about half the time I am comparing the body I have now to the one I most recently inhabited: one that was 9 months pregnant. During this half of the time I feel fantastic! Thin, and beautiful, and sexy, and limber, etc. etc. The other 50% of the time I am comparing the body I have now to the one I had most of my life: a professional modern dancer who was always fit, shapely, and pretty damn skinny. This half of the time I feel fat, and flabby, and stretch marked, and out of shape, and stiff, and old, and about as un-sexy as you can get. I yo-yo back and forth between these states of mind multiple times each day. I’m only 3 months pp now, and trying my best to take life, and my new body, one day at time. Mostly, I try to concentrate on my beautiful baby…

You look great…you had a lovely pregnant belly, and your daughter is beautiful :)
we look so similar!! except i got a boy out of the whole deal and you got your little lady. we’re both lucky;)
You look amazing. Your baby is beautiful and so are you.
Holy cannoli! You look unbelievable! There’s no way you’re three weeks postpartum! Congrats! And you have a gorgeous daughter, too! :D Two gorgeous ladies.
you do look lovely,,, but it is also very hard to get used to the new softness and curviness of your post body . but ,for real,,, give it time, you’re bouncing back wonderfully!
I found my new softness disturbing too. You look amazing though… And you’re only 3 months pp too! Your body will transform a lot more over the rest of the year. You have lovely skin and it will firm up more over time… Mine took at least 6-9 months before I started feeling more comfortable with it. You look hot mama! So slim… I’m jealous :)
Hi ! You look fantastic no worries at all ! I know that the positive comments wont likely change your perspective but I look like this and my son is five now !!! You are looking fantastic already, just plan a work out routine around your childcare and be more comfortable in your new skin :)
You look great! Your body was eventually going to change, whether you had kids or not. Atleast this way you have your daughter to enjoy!
you look absolutely amazing, and you have an incredible body… with the added bonus of a daughter who loves you.
