Hi other moms! Well I guess the best way to start is always at the begginning…
When I was 20 I got pregnant with my first child. My prepregnancy weight was 125 and was a barely even A cup… when i went in to have our daughter i was 206 pds. (I carried 4 weeks over for some hard to explain reasons) and was a DD cup. I was right on track with my weight loss and just as i started to look like my old self I found out I was pregnant again. When I found out I was pregnant I was at 145 my daughter was 6 months old at the time. When I went in to have my second child I was 215 pds. (I had ALOT of water weight that time). My second child just turned six months today. I just wanted everyones opinion about whether or not my weight loss is on track since having two kids so close together seems to make things harder. Also my husband has started making it seem like i just “let myself go” he hasnt said anything but i can def tell he feels that way since I am not losing the “baby weight” as fast as i did with our first child. We were always the inshape kind of couple constantly doing athletics and things like that so being out of my normal shape has been really difficult for me. My current weight is 150, and i think toning is my biggest struggle with my body since our kids were born.
I just dont know how fast Im suppose to be losing weight and ppl keep telling me too fast is unhealthy but at the same time I of course feel like getting back in shape couldnt come fast enough… I guess i just wanna know what other people think of the way I look at this point in time.
PS I took some of these for my husband, I will be gone for our wedding anniversary so i thought it would be a good idea, but am unsure if I actually want to give them to him or wait and take more when i get into better shape.
AGE: 22

Are you kidding me? You have lost 65 pounds in ONLY 6 months…that is amazing!!!!! You are only 25 pounds away from your pre-(all)baby weight! This is so great. I think you look great the way you are right now. I am sure your husband does not feel that way (it is probably you just feeling insecure). You are losing over 10 pounds a month. That is over 2.5 pounds a week (the “ideal” is to lose 1 pound a week)…so you are doing amazing! Do not push yourself, you look awesome!
I agree with Shannon. Congrats on your weight loss so far. You look terrific!
youlookgreat! THEY say 9 months to put it on9 months to take it off— it took me 3years
I agree with Shannon. I think you’re doing great. You gained alot with your pregnancies. I couldn’t imagine losing that much any quicker. I feel like it took my body forever just to recover from one child and your body is handling recovering from two in a row very well.
And my advice on your hubby:
Guys are really hard to figure out. If he hasn’t said anything out right to you about it and maybe just mentioned “getting back into shape” or something like that, he may actually be trying to encourage you. I thought the same thing when I was insure about my body until I talked to my guy about it. Communication is key. And in my experience guys definitely think a confident woman is sexier than a perfect body.
You look awesome! It took me two years to lose my weight from baby #2! Dont push it, you want your skin to be able to tighten back up better :) Good for you mama, your a hottie!
If you are losing steadily and it’s in a manner that’s healthy and maintainable then it IS on track. Great job!
you look wonderful! no reason to keep those hidden he will love em!
HOT!
My husband agrees. He says your husband will love the photos.
I would agree with Shannon that the ideal weight loss is between 1 to 2 lbs a week. I always tell my clients that if it takes 9 months to have a baby you can expect it to take that long to lose the weight. If you look at your current pace you will lose over 40 lbs in the next 16 weeks, which would put you below your pre-baby weight. Hang in there and keep doing what you are doing!
You look phenomenal! Great job!!it took me a full year to lose the weight with my 3rd and I only put on 35 lbs. Congrat on your weight loss! I bet the hubby is feeding off your insecurities cause you’re hot!
Okay, LET ME HELP PUT THINGS INTO PROSPECTIVE AND ALSO TO ALL THE OTHER MOMS POSTING THEIR WEIGHT!
IM A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, AND HERES THE FACT… MUSCLE WEIGHS WAAAY MORE THAN FAT, INCHES ARE THE KEY THING TO KEEP TRACK OF. NOONE EVER LOOKS AT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, AND SAYS, “WOW …. SHE LOOKS GOOD, BUT I BET SHES HEAVY, OR WEIGHS SUCH AND SUCH!”
IVE HAD TWO KIDS IN TWO YEARS WENT FROM 136 PRE PREGO ( AT 5’7) TO 151 LBS NOW. IM A SIZE 5 WAIST AND AM WAAAAAY FITTER AND CUT NOW AT THE HEAVIER WEIGHT.
GET OFF THE SCALE LADIES…. TRACK INCHES AND MEASURE HOW YOU FEEL, THE SCALE IS VERY DECIEVING.
THANKYOU LADIES! and a few husbands lol… My hubby LOVED THE PICS. He opened them at work lol didnt know he would do that but i got a lunch visit so it worked in my favor lol. It turned out I was loosing weight to fast and that is a possibility. It messed with blood sugar levels and vita. levels low iron and such. While i did nothing but eat right and work out i was pushing myself too hard. so far warning to all you other ladies its true too fast is just as bad as not at all!
Thankyou again for the comments. :)
