Hurray for Stretchmarks!
I’ve always loved stretch marks on other people, they are so silvery and intricate and pretty. And I didn’t have any myself. But then I had a beautiful baby girl, six months ago, and now I have them all over my lower belly, and I love them. And I love the new texture my belly has, it’s so very soft and delicate-feeling.
Thank you, everyone, for your amazing pictures.
Thank you so much for your comment!!! I get tired of hearing people call stretchmarks “battle scars” – what an ugly name! Sure, stretchmarks take some getting used to and they aren’t part of “Hollywood’s definition of pretty,” but my body gave me my child – my son is not the result of any “battle,” but a wonderful gift that I treasure.
Good for you! Your belly looks beautiful, pregnant and postpartum!
We have similar torsos (we’re both long waisted) and similar belly buttons. I’ve never seen another woman who has a long, innie-outie, belly button like mine; it’s kind of neat! :) I haven’t had children yet, but I hope I’m as lucky as you. You have a beautiful outlook on life and about your figure. I wish you the best, God bless!
YAY! I love them, too! I love yours & I love mine. my stretchmarks remind me of where my son’s shoulder was underneath my skin. they are wonderful reminders of that special time that is pregnancy. i like the texture of your belly, too. it looks soft & tactile.
You have a perfect belly! And a nice think about strechmarks… you make me smile happy for reading how your pretty eyes look strech..
I have a belly horrible compare to myself last year, compare to you, my grandmothers, to everybody… but you make me smile and feel a bit better!
;)

Uggg! You must also be the person who looks good in a paper bag! Your belly is cute with your stretch-marks. Mine- not so much. Of course, mine didn’t look as cute as yours BEFORE I had my daughter :-)
Beautiful belly! I like that you used the word “intricate.” That’s awesome.
