Happy Mother’s Day!

To each and every one of you – to those who hold your babies, and those who long to. To those whose babies are long since grown and those whose have not yet arrived. To those with stretchmarked bodies and those with nary a sign of past pregnancies. Each of you is perfectly you; perfectly mother.

Bless you all – you make this site what it is.

Happy Mother’s Day to you, too. Happy Mother’s Day to you, too. <3

And I couldn't have said it better than you did. Beautiful! We ARE all perfectly ourselves.

Indeed…I am a FTM and I couldn’t fathom just how much this day would mean to me. You brought more tears to my eyes!

    What a sweet picture…

Oh, that made my cry. I do long to hold my baby. When that will happen, I’m not sure. (Sooner rather than later, I hope, but it seems like I’ve been waiting forever and will be waiting a lot more.) But reading this made me feel less alone, less depressed, less like I’m waiting for something that feels like it will never happen. Thank you.

Wow, I was browsing through this site just totally for curiosity’s sake, not really moved at all, and I saw this photo and immediately started crying. I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and have a 17-month-old daughter, and seeing this picture just affirms in me the desire that I have to hold her little body close to mine after her bath. I feel weird about it, but I guess I’m not alone in seeing such beauty in the physical mother-child bond…
