Body After Baby #1, 21 Years Old (Anonymous)

I had my little boy july 31, ’08. 2 months after my 21 birthday. He is my world. I appreciate him coming into my life because he saved me from myself. He made me into the best person I can be, and I will always be indebted to him for that! I started out at 140lbs (I’m 5’8) and when I delivered I was 212 pounds! yikes! lol. I have stretch marks~even on the back of my knees!~and my tummy is not tight anymore, but I don’t have any regrets! But that doesn’t mean some days I don’t miss my old body!

I look just like you! I had a little boy 3 months after my 22nd birthday. I know exactly how you feel. Some days I really love my body and some days I wish the stretch marks would fade. I am really self concious about wearing a skirt or shorts ever again becuase I have strech marks down to my calfs.

my body looked just like yours 5 months after I had my baby boy on july 31 2004. I came home as a 140 lbs. woman. Before the baby I weighed 100 lbs. I was depressed because I did not agree with looking so different from what I had forseen for myself iin the future. you look beutiful ,really, and I looked beautiful then. but the change is too dramatic for one to accept it. Anyway, I went on atkins and made lots of crunches in my living room, and almost everyday went running until I got tired. not ruuuunnnnning! more like draging my feet. I decided that I was doing something about my unhapiness and waited. When my boy was 10 months I was 105 pounds, a tight abdomen, and very cute. I beleive you are very muscular, you seem to have a great body, you can get your shape back, just try ,the only hard part is atkins.

It’s awesome that you can put these pics up, it helps others to have some courage. I have a 3year old daughter and I am 23…I still haven’t lost my weight. That is my own fault, but I love my body, just not my belly, I will always have the stretch marks I just want less belly!!
    You look great

My daughter is now 6 weeks old and i am torn up about my new body. I too started at 140 lbs and ended up at 206 at the very end.I have the same stretch marks as you and it makes me feel a little better knowing there is someone else out there going through what i am going through.I am down to 170 today and working really hard to loose my weight.I guess in time i will learn to be proud of my body, the miracle it created is worth every mark. Thank you for sharing these pictures?
