When I got pregnant I was expecting to be covered in stretch marks like my mother. What happened is that the tiny rabbit tatoo on my hip stretched itself into a butterfly and my breast became hung with tiny and large silver spiderwebs. The photo is in the very begining, and the stretching had really just started. It got so that I had ribbons that went from one breast to the other. My breasts which had been formerly high, loosened and flowed down to equal to my elbows (from an A cup to a D cup!!)I still breast feed my baby (5 mo old now) and its been a close and bonding experience! I wouldn’t do it any other way. I produce so much milk that I donate to a mother who adopted in LA. If I have any regret it is that due to the massive streching of my skin I have lost some sensation and if I tap myself I can’t even feel it!! Did I mention I gained 70 pounds!? :)
Wow! That is so amazing that you are able to produce so much milk! It’s so touching that you donated to that adoptive mother too! I am an AA and my breasts hardly grew during pregnancy, and I wasn’t able to produce much milk…after 3 months, my supply dried up completely. But I did get stretch marks on my breasts, and they are a sweet reminder of the incredible time I spent nursing my beloved daughter.
