After having my first baby at age 21, I remember looking other women in their early 20s walking around in belly baring tops with jealousy. I tucked my extra skin down into my jeans and self-consciously yanked at the hem of my shirts anytime they dared to show a peek of my wrinkly flab. Over the past 4 years, the only time I’ve felt confident about my belly was when I was pregnant for a second time and had a baby to fill out my pooch. Then Zebrabelly started talking about this project and I started looking at my body in a new way. I may not look like a supermodel, but my body has grown, birthed and fed two wonderful daughters and what’s more beautful than that.
This series is particularly lovely. The one with the red fabric background is gorgeous; I wish I’d done one like that ;) The bottom one is also pretty and very feminine. Striking set!
Anna;I feel ya. I had my first at 19. I used to look around at my peers, who had ridiculously “unblemished” bellies, and yank my shirts down and hike my jeans up. I lost that way of thinking sometime last summer. I am a mother. I pushed an 8.5 lb human being out of a ridiculously small-to-begin-with frame, dealt with 100 lb weight gain and 130 lb weight loss. I’m not going to complain about a couple stretch marks after THAT experience ;)And, just so you know, I think you have a rather lovely belly. And quite beautiful photos!
love the pics, you look very feminine :)
Just beautiful! I can’t keep up with all these pictures – they’re coming so quickly!
The bottom photo is truly a work of art! The tones and shading are excellent and the composition is perfect.:) Abbie (and you look fabulous by the way!)
Your pictures are gorgeous. I LOVE the one at the top with the red fabric. You look like a beautiful painting.

My butt looks just like that! I just asked my husband to take a picture of my butt the other day and he gave me a strange look! You beat me to it! Maybe I’ll still post it, though! :)
You have stretch marks in the exact same place as I do! -minus the stomach! Especially the butt/top of the thighs. My body twin! I love it :)

Oh my God. You’re stunning. I would kill to have stretch marks like yours. Mine are deep, wide, dark and literally all over my body from neck to ankles. Yours are works of art. I’d show them off! *smiles*
Personally I think you are really sexy.
