First off I’d like to state that the first picture posted is of me at 37 weeks & 2 days pregnant… it is also the day right before I gave birth to my twins so it gives you a nice glimpse as to how large my belly was. The second picture is of myself 7 weeks postpartum :) (7-14-2011) I am quite happy with how my belly is recovering and I am very secure with how my belly looks. I was able to deliver the twins vaginally which is what I wanted which also made recovering much smoother. The final picture is, of course, of me and my lovely twin girls!! Before I got pregnant I weighed 117 lbs. During the pregnancy my total weight gain was 53 lbs. I am now down to 132 lbs. I really enjoyed being pregnant and was able to embrace it after the first trimester. The first trimester was rough as I experienced harsh morning sickness and horrible fatigue. Once the second trimester hit, though, everything was great! I am definitely a very proud mother of two healthy beautiful fraternal twin girls!! :D

You were absolutely beautiful when you were pregnant. What an amazing belly you had. You look beautiful now as well. It is incredible how flat your tummy is only 7 weeks pp. You look at the pictures of you the day before you gave birth, and the pictures of you 7 weeks pp…you are very resilient :) Also, congratulations on your ability to deliver your daughters naturally. You are a lovely mommy!
Congrats mama! You look great!!
What an awesome preggo belly!?! And I can not believe that is you 7 weeks later, wow! Congratulations on your beautiful babies :)
Congratulations on your baby girls, and being able to do a vaginal delivery! You don’t hear of that very often often, most of the time twins/multiples are born via c-section. Well done :)
You have every reason to be confident and happy! You’re gorgeous and so are your little girls. Your stomach is recovering very well, especially for twins. Your stretchmarks are already white! Andd, your stomach is going to keep shrink for another month or so. I’m sure you’ll have no problem getting back to your pre-pregnancy weight, even though you look fabulous at this weight, too.
If you’re not wearing a bikini this summer, you better next summer! Us mamas gotta show the world that we’re still sexier than ever. :)
You look phenominal, never mind that you just had twins!!! And for the day before having your babes, you also look GREAT!! you definitely suit being pregnant!! your babes are adorable.
keep the beautiful attitude, it gets you so very far!! :)
Beautiful pics mama! You look incredibly happy and healthy as do your gorgeous little girls. Glad birth went the way you wanted it too, nowadays doctors really do push for c-sections especially in the case of twins. Glad you were able to do what ya wanted! :)
Wow, where do you live that the Dr’s even considered letting you have a normal vaginal delivery? I think now days, having twins is an automatic C-section. Congratulations to you!! Yes, you do look fantastic!
I can’t believe how cute you are! You’re a beautiful woman! And you’re right – wow did your rummy rebound fast! You look fantastic! What beautiful daughters you have! Thank you for sharing! :D
You look amazing! And it’s great that you were able to have your babies vaginally. You can see you’re confidence in your pictures, beautiful mom and beautiful babies!
Wow!! Congratulations! What an amazing attitude! You look amazing and your daughters are beautiful. Wish my body looked like yours after my twin boys! Enjoy those babies!!
This post made me smile, simple as that x
You look great and congrats on your uneventful birth! What an amazing gift to have two gorgeous babies. Vaginally birthing twins should not be so unheard of.
*Soapox Alert*
As a general rule, twins SHOULD be born vaginally if they are both vertex. Some can be born vaginally even if one is breech, you just have to have a provider who is educated on multiples and breech. Unfortunately, most docs these days aren’t familiar with anything other than a cesarean to deal with these issues. My OB (in Atlanta) has assisted TWO TRIPLET VBACs (one after 2 CS and no prior vaginal births) in the last year and a half. Just trying to get the word out there that a cesrean is NOT the only way for these babies to be born safely.
Thank you all very much. I am really happy and my girls are wonderful. I forgot to mention in my post that the day I actually gave birth I was supposed to have a C-section. It was already scheduled… BUT… just like that, in the early morning at 4:00 am my water breaks!! It was a bit funny that my girls decided they wanted to arrive on that day THEIR way :P (and my way as well) <3
I love that you didn’t have a c section :) go momma!!
Wow. You seriously give me a lot of hope and inspiration for the future and that I can look just as nice as you eventually. <3
Aw :) I love looking at my pregnant belly pics and seeing my baby girl now :) I can’t believe someone so cute came from me!
Freaking amazing for twins!!! Congrats!
