I guess I just wanted to show people that, no matter if youre over weight or under weight, we all have issues with our bodies after our babies come into our lives.
I have hated my stretch marks since I was 7 months pregnant. And now, they have faded from the bright purple to a dark flesh tone, but you can still see them. I try to keep my tummy covered as much as possible, because without seeing them I prolly seem whole. I always felt ugly or damaged when I looked down, but my husband has always reassured me that he loves them, especially the feel of them. Sometimes I dont believe, but sometimes i do because he seems so innocent when he says it. But I have finally came to terms with my body. I will not wear an ulgy one piece bathing suit just to make OTHER people feel more comfortable around me or a tee shirt swimming at the river. I guess, I dont really have a real interesting story. I just wanted to say that no matter what your body looks like, you should be proud of it and flaunt what God gave you. And besides, when we finally are able to stay pregnant to have another baby, they’ll get worse again most likely, so why not enjoy the tummy I have now rather than hate it?
aw you look lovely, i love your stretchmarks, honestly i do, my fiance has loads on his tummy and i just think they look great, yours are all symetrical and pretty :) and you look like you have a perfect figure, your waist is tiny! lucky you :D
I’m glad you made the comment about having issues with your body after baby no matter what your weight. Every where I go, I am complimented on my PP body because I lost all the weight right away (basically). However, I did not escape from stretch marks, cellulite, and little fat bulges easily concealed by clothing. When others seem jealous and tell me “WOW I can’t believe you had a baby!!!”. I say, “well you are seeing me with clothes ON”….
Anyway, I think you look awesome (REALLY). Thank you also for the attitude of not hiding your stretch marks! I think if more people just saw them as natural….even beautiful…we would ALL be more comfortable exposing them.
You look great i hope i look as good as you, i read somewhere rubbing viks on stretch marks helps, you can buy creams. But i must say you look very good!
thank you for that post :)
Your stretch marks really aren’t bad. Congratulations on your little one. And good luck having another if that’s what you want.
Thank you for your post. You have a very nice figure!
Love your attitude!!! And you have a killer body! :)
You look amazing!!! I love those cute little tattoos, too! Such a flat tummy! I don’t even notice the stretchmarks, just your flat tummy! Go for the two-piece! :D
amen to that! love your attitude girl :)
You DO have an interesting story and thank you for telling it! I think you look so beautiful and have such lovely hips! Good luck on your efforts to have another baby.
you look great your waist is SOOOOO tiny~ you really shouldnt cover it and your marks will fade…bio oil is working really great for me!
I’m glad you made the comment about having issues with your body after baby no matter what your weight. So many people asume that if you are skinny and don’t gain too much weight you won’t get stretch marks. I was tiny pre baby am now tiny post baby, hardly gained any weight and yet still have a ton of stretch marks (plus I used a ton of creams throughout). It is purely genetics or luck or the drawer xxxx
You look terrific! I agree with everyone else, thats a body to rock with pride!!! oh and I’m with moomyofabeauty on the bio oil… did WONDERS for mine even 1 year pp.(and only used it for a month)
so glad you made the comment that you will keep wearing a bikini- so many of the mums on here seem to think that if you get stretchies then you can’t wear a two-piece- it’s so untrue! you look great and i really enjoyed your story.
When the body grows rapidly the skin has to stretch, but genetics determine if or how many stretch marks you get. Some gain very little and get tons of stretch marks while others hit the genetic jackpot and have 3 children and zero stretch marks (like my mom). Stretch marks are breaks in the deep layers, not the epidermis, so creams or oils won’t really do much.
fantastic post :)
