Thanks for sharing your story and congrats on a healthy pregnancy and delivery. I know you may not feel your best and those are tough situations but you’re only 4 months pp. Are you working out, starting a new meal plan? I think those are safe alternatives to a tummy tuck. I would love to help you out a lil bit and assist you in developing the new, single you. send email if you would like, billboardz360@gmail.com. thanks again for your story.
You have a great shape I can see it. I totally feel your pain I have the same loose skin. It will get a little tighter. I am 6 mths post and I feel pilates helps a ton. You’d be surprised how much your body can change without surgery. Good luck!
That’s normal for 4 months! You will lose it-eat good and work out. Stay strong mama and remember that you will find someone who is PERFECT for you…keep your chin up.
wow i looked the same way, it does get better in time now i’m 1yr pp & i look a lot better. stay strong for your kids. ;] it dosent look like it now but life does get better.
Sweety, just do what you want to do for you! And you’re not gonna be single forever, you’ll find someone when the time is right. You sound like a wonderful mom and I commend you on your strength.
i am sorry about how your relationship ended, but you will find who you’re meant to be with! everything happens for a reason, i know you probably don’t want to hear that right now. my stomach is identical to yours. i’m 7 months postpartum. over time, it has improved A LOT since i had the baby…and i’ve been up and down with my eating (some days eating too much, some days not eating at all). you look like you have no stretchmarks at all! that’s awesome!! it seems like you have great skin…which means with some healthy eating and working out, you could probably get your stomach looking pretty great over time. i have to get on track with some healthier eating habits and a workout regiment…not very easy with a not-so-great sleeper and working full time…but i will not give up! please keep us posted…and try to stay positive, i know it isn’t easy. :)
the thing every new mom should hear when they are feeling bad about their pp body shortly after birth is that it took 9 whole months to get there, and you shouldn’t worry about it so soon after, it may take 9 months or a little longer to get back to where your comfortable again.
i really appr u n try to do good exexcise
My stomach looked like that too, except completely covered in stretch marks. Honestly, I thought I’d have to wear shirts 2x larger just to cover it. I cried over it daily!
Then I lost all my pregnancy weight (I gained 55 pounds) and at around 7-8 monthspp, I started to notice it really tighten up (which I thought was impossible due to the stretch marks) and the fat underneath it vanished. Although I still plan on getting a tummy tuck, I can confidently wear almost any shirt I want. (I’m at 11 months pp now)
I KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH IM 16 AND IM HAVING MY SECOND BABY IM 8 MONTHS PREGNANT AND MY BABYS DAD BAILED ON ME SO I HAVE NO CLOTHES OR ANYTHING FOR THE BABY…BUT JUST TO LET YOU KNOW YOU SHOULDNT LET IT GET TO YOU AS LONG AS OUR KIDS HAVE WHAT THEY NEED GOD WILL RETURN THE FAVOR TO US ONE DAY =].SO NO NEED FOR TEARS GUYS LIKE THAT ARENT WORTH IT! BESIDES THAT ITS NORMAL FOR YOUR STOMACH TO LOOK LIKE THAT, JUST EAT RIGHT AND EXCERSIZE AND YOU’LL BE FINE
You will be shocked what a full 9-12 months will do for your belly. . . you really need that time for the skin to go back, and often, it really will go right back to normal. My stomach and skin went back to normal after that amount of time.
At 4 months pp my tummy looked like yours in your photo + lots of stretch marks, I cried every day. I am at 12 months and it is lots better but not back fully yet, maybe it won’t. I just wanted to say, someone dear told me, “it will take 9 months to go back” and then showed me her own tummy. Mine did not look right at 9 months and is still getting better – so don’t worry if at 12 months it is not right. Also – being a single mom is so hard, and you are so young, I really admire you being so positive x x
