I got pregnant when I was 19, when I told the father he left me, then he moved away and changed his phone number, I was never able to get ahold of him, When my parents found out I was pregnant they disowned me. I went through my entire pregnancy completely alone. I spent the holidays alone, I didnt get a single present for Christmas or my birthday, nor a phone call from my parents. I got fired from my job, and at that point in time I was convinced that I was going to give my daughter up for adoption, I had all the paperwork filled out. It wasnt till I was eight months pregnant that my grandmother on my father’s side came down to Colorado from her house and Montana and helped me get ready to KEEP my baby. It was the best descion I have ever made. She is beautiful. But my body, will never be ever again.

Since I had her, I’ve met someone very dear to me, who could care less and loves me for who I am, and loves my daughter, who was born June 15th 2006 :)

This is a shot of my belly at 31 weeks. All the stretch marks are from my first pregnancy, three years ago. I stretched out so much from the first one that, as of yet, I have developed no new stretch marks.

I was 18 when I had my first. So, just because you’re young doesn’t mean your body is going to be flawless afterward. I lost all my pregnancy yet and then some, but my belly remained wrinkly and saggy. It took me a while to accept that it would never be smooth. But now, I realize that I am beautiful. As my husband continuously tells me, my stretch marks are a reminder of the miracle I created.

Autumn

Hi, my name is Autumn. I’m almost 19 years old, I had my son a week after I turned 18. During my pregnancy I ended up getting preeclampsia, which resulted in me gaining excessive weight. I started my pregnancy at 164lbs and ended it at 241lbs. Most of this weight was gained at the end of my pregnancy. I gained 29lbs in just the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy! can you believe that? I was swollen from end to end of my body, I was so swollen that the stretch marks and the bottom of my stomach actually popped out, I had this huge water pocket hanging off of my stomach (which when I went to L&D they told me it was my son’s head. HAH okay. last time i checked my baby’s head wasn’t squishy. but my OB then told me at my next appt that it was edema). my pregnancy was induced at the beginning of my 37th week, 3 hours, no epi, 25mins of pushing and delivered a healthy, beautiful, 7lbs 15oz baby boy.

I just want to say that this site is absolutely wonderful, all of you are beautiful.
