11 Months Postpartum/ Mother of Two (Irie Mama)

I got pregnant when I was sixteen and had my first child at the age of 17. I was so unprepared for what pregnancy was going to do to my body! I ended up gaining 50 pounds in a short period of time and I have stretch marks EVERYWHERE! On my stomach, Big ones on my hips, the sides of my thighs and all over my breasts and butt! Ah the things we sacrifice for our children. I don’t really even mind the stretch marks I have! I am a little proud of them but I wish I didn’t have so many! The thing that I am really dissappointed with is my breasts. They used to be so beautiful and my areolas were small and they weren’t as saggy. I breastfed both of my children. I got pregnant again at 19 and had my son at 20. I breastfed him for a much longer time then my daughter and it did a toll on my breasts. I know one day I’ll probably choose to get a tummy tuck or maybe even a breast lift because I feel that I will never be happy until I look better. But for now, my husband loves me the way I am!

Prepregnancy weight: 128
First pregnancy weight-178
Post pregnancy weight-127
Second pregnancy weight-160
Post pregnancy weight-138

My daughter is 3 and a half and my son is 1.

I am not quite sure what you are thinking they will tuck? Any less of a stomach and you would be inverted. Cut yourself some slack, you look gorgeous. Perhaps the pics are too low res but I see nary a stretchmark in sight. Are you still breastfeeding? My breasts looked similar to yours after I weaned my first, apparently it takes a good 6 months for them to go back to normal after weaning.

You look better than I did pre-baby. Seriously you look great and you definitely don’t need any kind of surgery. Like others said, you don’t have anything to tuck. Congrats on the two babies!

No tummy tuck for you! You have a lovely stomach and the surgery would leave a long totally unnecessary scar. I would like to believe any surgeon you consulted would talk some sense to you but I fear he/she would be swayed by the though of money and would actually encourage you in this misguided quest. Read and repeat, “I don’t need surgery, I don’t need surgery!”. I also think your breasts are great and look very womanly. You really and truly have nothing to worry about. You’re a stunner.

Hahaha I had the exact same thought as Olivia–what in the world would you “tuck”? Your stomach looks awesome!

I understand the saggy breasts, though. I went from a 32F to a 34H, and now I’m back in my old bras (weaned at 13 months) but I have to pull the girls up and kind of tuck them in when I put my bra on. You might not have the perky breasts of a teenager but yours have done amazing things! They nourished life! What 16-year-old (non-mother) can say hers have done that?! Also, this is going to sound weird but your areolas are nice and light–they might be bigger, but they didn’t get super-dark. I had never considered that until somebody made the same comment on one of my posts.

I think you look great, and I hope you find the confidence to believe me some day :)

Girl, you look AMAZING. Period. No buts, ifs. You look frickin’ great. Don’t compare yourself to your younger self — you’ll never look like that again. Kids do permanently change a woman’s body – but not necessarily for the worst. I think you look womanly. I don’t see anything bad about you anywhere, not your breasts or your belly. The stretchmarks will lighten with time, maybe rub some Vitamin E oil on them daily, that will help. No surgery!! Wait two more years, look in the mirror again, and I hope you see what everyone here sees – a rockin’ mom of 2 kids, holy crap!
