When I had my son last year I was very self conscious about my new body. I would visit The Shape of a Mother frequently to remind me that I am not alone and that my body is indeed beautiful. 3 months after I had him I became pregnant with my daughter. I had her October 11, 2008. Tonight on January 17, 2009 I decided to take these photos to help others who felt the same way I did when I had my son. I am now very proud of my body and what it is capable of!

Your daughter was born on the best day!! My twin sister and I share that birthday (albeit 26 years after your daughter!)!! On my 30th birthday (your daughter’s 4th) the date will read 10-11-12! Fun stuff!

I too have had two pregnancies in two years, just like you, around the same time. My son was born sept.13th 2007, and my daughter was born October 30th, 2008. I’m having so much with my little munchkins! I am so glad that my son adores his little so much, he’s always giving her kisses <3 so sweet.
