I’m so glad to read a story on here of a woman who truly embraces her body’s power and beauty, in all its “flaws.” Our culture needs more stretch-marked, soft-around-the-middle, not-so-perky, confidently gorgeous mothers to step forward and redefine the beauty standard. Hard, young female bodies are not all that is beautiful of womankind!
Too many women seem to use this site to be negative about their postpartum selves, but your post embodies the true spirit and intention of the site. Thank you. Tell your story whenever you can, to whoever will listen. More people need to hear it.
