I posted about this on my blog. (wendykh.livejournal.com) I’m not real friendly to the person in the last quote she used. Criticism is fine but mean spirited b*tchiness should really be out of fashion by now. (uh… unless it’s in response to mean spirited b*tchiness! ;-)
Glad to see this site is getting some more recognition. I love this site!I was a little unhappy with Ms. Stratton’s comment too, like the post above – frankly, not everyone can “drop the rest of it” so easy. I eat healthily, work out at the gym and am very active, but my belly is still there. I don’t mind it too much anymore – but I’m not about to put on anything belly showing!! And you know, not all of us can afford Baby and Mommy Bootcamp and those type of things – even if they did work.
Yay for Canada! So glad they got on board and wrote something about this fabulous site! I thought Stadtman-Tucker’s comment about this website being misleading and saying that it “primarily depicts extreme transformations” was false. And yeah, Laura Stratton, “Frankly you can just go to your baby and mommy boot camp and leave the rest of us and our hip rolls alone!” Sheesh! Where did they find her? Who is she and how did her opinion make it into this article???
I was pretty happy to read Misty’s article in my local paper this morning, as I’ve been a fan of Shape of a Mother for a bit now. And yes, that last person she interviewed was snotty and mean. I’ll just leave it at that.
I’d like Ms. Stratton to have a little chat with my metabolism if she doesn’t mind, so she can convince my rolls they aren’t pregnancy related.

I honestly have no idea who she is or how they found her. That’s all the reporter’s doing.

Ms.Stratton should share her post-partum photos, you know, to help “balance” things around here.
