Wow! Thanks for showing the beauty of motherhood, Cindy! You look awesome! I wish I had that tight tummy!

Thank you Cindy Crawford for showing the rest of the world what true beauty is.
I am a little offended, however, by the author’s line: “…it seems that even supermodels suffer from the unsightly signs of motherhood”. Obviously this is the mindset that perpetuates the idea that saggy skin, stretchmarks, and all of the other beautiful marks that pregnancy leaves are something to hide and be ashamed of.
I think that Cindy looks wonderful and kudos to her for having the confidence to show her post-pregnancy body to the world.

What made me upset about that article was the wording. “The unslightly signs of motherhood”!!! No wonder so many of us struggle with our post-partum bodies!!!

Of course I agree about their choice of wording. I was just about to head out the door when I found that link in my e-mail and had to post it right away! Otherwise I probably would have put more effort into my post. ;)

She looks pretty good 2 me:)
Of course the mag calls it ‘unsightly’, morons. Do they not know how many of their readers R mothers and probably have sagging belly skin of their own? Cutting down yer own readers, good idea, not!

I always thought Cindy Crawford was beautiful, but I now have a whole new respect for her. I think “mommy bellies” add a whole new element of beauty to an otherwise cookie cutter world.

I Just wanted to say that I think she is still BEAUTIFUL. It shouldn’t matter how she looks. Thats the way that GOD and JESUS had intended her to be. All woman who endure Stretch marks in my book are true woman!

How do we know for sure which are photoshopped and which aren’t?

I preferred the stretchmark pictures. Only then could I proudly say my belly looks like Cindy Crawford’s!

couldn’t it just be a matter of the angle and lighting? i know i have places on my body that at one angle, if i am stretch out in a certain way, they look taut and at another, if i am bending over, look like crape paper.

Go to supermarket and pick up any tabloid. Every issue has
photoshopped images of celebrities with exaggerated defects. It is the big seller today…people have a perverse satisfaction of seeing these over-hyped “stars” taken down a peg.Obvious that Cindy Crawford was portryed this way just as easily as she is airbrushed when the need occurs.

To the argument over Photoshopping: In the pictures at the HollywoodTuna site if you look even remotely carefully you can still very clearly see that she has the baby belly, complete with faded stretch marks and “sag”. It’s easier to photoshop OUT something then to exaggerate flaws and it’s clear that they simply blurred and edited out as much of the stretch and sag and not the reverse.

I commend Cindy for being human and accepting age and motherhood with grace. She’s doing what the world needs and exposing everyone what we already know – that age and motherhood changes the body and it’s not bad or something to be ashamed about.

Wow, she makes those look good!! Haha…I just saw this the other day on a different site and I decided to wear buy a bikini…and I wore it…in a public place. I felt even sexier than I did before when my body was all taut and toned. I love my mommy marks.
