I’m sorry you are struggling. I am also 8 months postpartum and my body looks pretty similar to yours actually. I am currently 30 pounds over my pre-preg weight. I am still breastfeeding though and I can’t exercise until I stop (exercising gives me plugged milk ducts and mastitis…I have already had a breast abscess drained 3 times). People tell me that the body really needs about 2 years to get close to its pre-preg shape so hang in there.
