you probably all think this is boring.. but i got through 37 weeks of a twin pregnancy, gave birth to the first naturally, no drugs, and the second emergency C-sec 45 minutes later. identical boys. i suffered with the weight, melted in the heat, had no sleep for the last 3 months or so… and came out the other end smiling. as soon as i saw them, it was all worth it! my body is as close to normal as its going to get, and i feel happy with it, i like my jelly belly, it has carried 3 perfect babies in there.. my boobs sag, but i dont care, i am still feeding my boys with them now, nearly a year later. i have more grey hair.. more wrinkles, a weak bladder.. but look at my boys… and my body did it all!!!

NO, not a boring story at all! What a wonderful birth. I’m glad you got to have a natural birth with the first so you could experience that. I’m so glad to hear you’re nursing them still. What a blessing!
They are two gorgeous little boys! They’re beautiful and perfect!

I too had identical twin boys, though my sons endured such a precarious gestation I was induced at 33 weeks. I envy you that you were able to get farther along. I nursed them til they were two weeks shy of their third birthday. They just turned 7 and can still remember being able to nurse (and they still make that sucking noise in their sleep, as does their older sister). I am fascinated with all the similarities and differences that exist between my sons. I hope that you find that to be the case too!

Wow they are beautiful! Congrats!
And I am surprised no stretch marks, especially for how big you got.
GOod job

Hi there,
I noticed your tags of a second pregnancy and twins, I am wondering if you showed extremely early with your boys? I’m 10wks and look 3 to 4 mos…. Should I consider the possibility of twins or just embrace my growing uterus and take a chill pill
How did you find out or when did you start suspecting twins?
I am full of questions. If you feel like answering one or all, please feel free.
Thanks!

Me again.. thanks for all your lovely comments. and yes, i was lucky, i got no stretch marks on the belly, but i did get them on my thighs and butt.. but not bothered, as no one ever sees those areas.. im not a bikini type.. haha
i was showing BIG TIME by 12 weeks.. outgrown all my trackpants..
i found out there were two at a 7 week scan.. had a lot of growing pains in the belly.. lol
