Last June our third daughter, Abby Angel, was born and died. One year and two weeks later I gave birth to our fourth daughter, Charlotte Faith. She arrived perfect, healthy, and beautiful and we know that she is Abby’s gift to our family. Her first moments of life outside my body were spent in my arms, with her head resting near the tattoo of Abby’s footprint over my heart. This was my last pregnancy so the belly pictures are so precious to me. I especially love the ones with my husband’s arms around me! These particular belly pictures were taken when I was 38 weeks, just 10 days before Charlotte was born.

I remember that we had spoken at one point after I had read you ENTIRE blog. I will say it again… you are so STRONG! I remember crying and crying and crying after I read your story… I am crying now, the joy you must feel! I am so happy for you and you family! I can’t even express how happy I am for you, and how beautiful Charlotte is. I am sure that her birth brought many emotions to the surface for you, as you remembered Abbey’s birth, but mainly I see joy in your face, and joy in hers too as she looks up at you! (and I love how she’s holding your thumb.)

Your children are all beautiful. I’m am so happy for you to have delivered a healthy baby girl. I’ve visited your blog and watched your slide show with tears as I am due in 3 days. I am so sad people have to live through the loss of their children. It shouldn’t be that way. I am so sorry you had to live through that. Congratulations on the birth of Charlotte, I’m sure you have an appreciation and love for your children unlike others. This will surley be a benefit to the women they become. You have told your story beautifully.

Congratulations on the birth of Charlotte Faith, she is absoultly beautiful! I have been reading your LJ daily and i thank you very much for sharing your journey with us. I have shed a few tears while reading your journal especially your slide show of little Abby Angel. I think you are a fantastic woman with so much strength and courage. As a mother of four myself i also know how manic it can be at times so i apploud you for finding time to keep us posted via your LJ. May i just also say that Abby was a perfect and beautiful baby in every way possible, a true credit to both yourself and your husband. Again thank you Janice!
