Mommy of 2 Beauties (Anonymous)

I had my first daughter three years ago at 18 years old and with my pregnancy with her is where my marks come from. My second I didn’t get any, but I have been widowed due to my hubby having a car accident when I was 2 months pregnant , our second is now 7 months old.. Needless to say I have fell for a guy whos been there for us and I’m terrified for him to see my body, when that time comes, in fear of what he may think… Do you think a belly ring might help a lil? BioOil, ect???

Wow..I can’t even begin to tell you how incredibly sorry I am. Just by your wording, you seems so strong. I couldn’t imagine losing my husband at any time, much less than a when I’m just entering a pregnancy. You must have incredible strength. Okay…so congratulations on meeting someone! I hope you and your babies are so blessed! Your body looks great…you have nice tone, great skin color and your shape is very feminine. Honestly, with the color of your skin, I don’t notice the stretchies like you do probably. I think you look amazing And should not worry at all about any person seeing you. It’s funny how we are out own worst critics… My hubs has been so amazing with the changes pregnancy had brought and I know that the guy who wins you will be just as great. ??

You look beautiful. How hard it must be to lose your partner… for the children to lose their father. Blessings on your life and on your new relationship. Hope your children grow up and are loved by many.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, and I am glad to hear you are moving on and healing. That said, I know how haes it is to bear the marks of pregnancy to another person. We live in a society that flaws seemed to be frowned upon, yet we women have dealt with the battle scars of pregnancy for many, many years. If this new man loved you and cared for you, how you look shouldn’t matter. A man knows what a woman’s body goes through carrying children. There is no other love stronger than a mother’s towards her children and the sacrifices she makes. I think you look amazing, and you sound like an amazing person.

First of all, I think you look amazing! I have the same concerns an its easy for people to say “if he loves, he won’t worry about your body.” Men, ad other women, don’t always understand the impact of what pregnancy can do to a body, mostly due to society and photoshop. It’s very unfortunate. But the point of this is that I have been in your shoes..and it’s terrifying. I have prefaced it with this- “my body doesn’t look like an airbrushed model. I have stretch marks. I have a few insecurities. But those don’t define who I am or the love I am capable of expressing.” And I never had anyone run away..no one ever cringed. They accepted me. But initially, it’s scary, no mater how strong you are. Believe in yourself..you’re beautiful!

You are absolutely beautiful! And you look great! I got stretch marks like yours with my first and I have been using Mederma stretch mark therapy and I have seen a major difference, it’s pricey but I have seen results! But you look great mama!(:

I swear we have similar bodies, I consider us to be somewhat thin ladies and just carry that little pudge of loose skin from having our children. My stretch marks and belly are exactly like yours. But I don’t have your full breast. I’m way smaller. But anyway I think you look great and sexy :)

Oh honey I had this exact same terror. I went through a divorce then fell in love, my biggest fear was that he’d take one look at my ruined belly and run for the hills. He absolutely couldn’t have cared less. We’ve since married and had our own children and he’s never been anything but appreciative and loving. If he’s the right man, he’ll know you’re a lot more than just your belly. x
