Mid-Thirties Mom of Two (Anonymous)

2 pregnancies, 2 births
3 years post-partum

Pregnancy was harder on my mind than on my body. I hated that my body was no longer my own to do with as I pleased. Post-partum, I hated that breastfeeding completely changed the look of my breasts, leaving me lopsided. I was resentful every time I looked in the mirror or passed a window, every time I tried on clothes.

With my 35th birthday looming, something inside of me changed. I’m turning 35. I’m supposed to be an adult. Where is that self-acceptance that everyone talks about? So I decided to find it. And, in my search, I found the beautiful women on this site. You have all inspired me to love myself, to embrace my body, and to be proud of what it has done. I’m now a content 35 year old mom of two, who just happens to have uneven breasts. But who cares? I’m a mother.

I just wanted to say that you shouldn’t be to upset that breastfeeding “completely changed the look of my breasts” as research has found that it’s actually pregnancy not breastfeeding that is responsible for the permanent changes to the look of a mom’s breasts. It the fact that your breast grow during pregnancy that account for the change. If you don’t breastfeed you will notice the difference sooner due to your milk drying and your breasts shrinking much sooner then if you breastfeed. Breastfeeding simply delays this process until you wean.

The first thing i thought was “did she have a breast augmentation?” Your breast are beautiful, round and perky. I didn’t even notice the size difference until i read your story. So don’t worry you look beautiful for a mom of two!

You look fabulous! Very slim and toned. And who cares if they are uneven, you’ve got great looking breasts! Congrats on your new found acceptance.

I too have a lopsided pair lol. I hope after we wean that the drastic size difference evens out some. Most people don’t seem to notice but when I wear lower neckline shirts its very obvious. I started stuffing like a pre puberty little girl haha. I took all the liners from my bathing suits and use them on the smaller side. I found a sports bra helps make them less noticeable too.
I think you look amazing. I came out of one pregnancy looking worse than you do. You should be proud that you kept such great shape after two children!!! You are beautiful.

I looked at your picture first and thought you look like a muscular-type of woman. I noticed you have large and beautifully shaped breasts and soft womanly curves. I didn’t even notice the unevenness until you mentioned it. My breasts are different sizes, too, but I honestly think that’s true with every woman! Whether it’s a small or large difference, there’s almost always a difference to be reported. I think you’re beautiful. I’m glad you found this site, too. :)

Most women have uneven breasts, with nothing due to pregnancy. Your difference is so small that no one but you notices. Your body looks great for 2 kids at 35! You look like most girls in their 20s. Be proud!

Your body looks very good. The full breasts could be the work of a very successful plastic surgery that someone would have paid thousands for. This is a look that many men and women would go for. You could rock this look anywhere and not be ashamed. I would not even suggest losing more than a few pounds. This is a very pleasing shape.

Is that your AFTER picture? Because, god damn, you look stunning! I’d go down on a law man for a body like that! I’m not even exaggerating, either. It severely depresses me that I don’t look like that anymore
