First time mother to a beautiful blessing (Anonymous)

Hi Everyone! First of all I would like to say this website is sucha beautiful and motivational site. Its wonderful to know I am not the only one who hates their body after pregnancy.

I am a 23 year old mother to a healthy 7 month old baby boy. Before I gotten pregnant i dieted and exercise everyday which lead me to lose 37 pounds. 155-160 pounds was my weight before i gotten pregnant..5 months later and 188 pounds I found out I was pregnant. Throughout my pregnancy I gained alot of weight by the time I was ready to be induced I weigh 247. During that time I could care less if I gained a pound or 5 pounds I was too buzy making sure my baby will be healthy. Sure enough he weigh 7 pounds 4 oz..and 23 inches long. 17 hours of labor but it was worth all the pain and hardship.

I breastfed my son til he was 6 months old.. I was hoping breastfeeding will lose all the weight i gained but the last 22 pounds needed extra help.It is now 7 months and I weigh 205. ABout two weeks ago I started working out 5 days a week 30-1 hr and a half and watch what i ate in moderation. I was able to finally lose the 6 pounds I was hoping to melt while breastfeeding. Im starting to feel great again becAUSe im working out and because my hubby started to notice my weight loss. I know i have a long way to go but with hard work I can do it. I am 17 pounds away to my prepregnancy weight.

I now have stretch marks everywhere..my boobs,,my stomach my lower back. I feel embarassed but reading this site made me feel better because Im not the only one who has it. =)

I wish everyone the best of luck.

Girl, that’s amazing! Every day is a change. I stopped losing weight after my daughter was a year, then when she was one and a half I lost five pounds out of nowhere. My body is still changing.

I’m so glad I put a smile on your face! You deserve it! God bless you!

I am 13 months pp and have 28 pounds to lose. It’s not easy with a baby trying to lose weight and get healthy so good for you, keep going. I have stretch marks on my upper thighs tho none on my tummy, but apart from the stretchmarks my tummy looks exactly the same as yours and we are about the same size. When i look at your tummy i think it looks absolutely fine!! yet when i look at mine in the mirror i think it looks disgusting?? maybe time i started being a little bit easier on myself. Thanks for posting your pics, and hope you reach your goal weight. Btw it takes a while but the stretch marks really do fade loads :)

Thank you. My body looked just like yours a few months ago. I hated the roll over. The look, how my clothes looked over it, EVERYthing about my belly disgusted me. I thought I was ugly, and ruined. Over the last 7 months (my daughter was born in march) I have had a roller coaster ride of self-image. This website has really changed/improved my outlook. I’ve been working out, and my roll over is going away, but my body is forever changed… I think I’m beginning to be ok with it.

Wow, you must be very tall because I would NEVER guess you weighed close to 200 pounds right now. Keep up the hard work.

You really look great! I have the same shaped belly (with a weird belly button) as you. Great job on the weight-loss!

It’s me again . I’m so suprise with all the positive feedbacks. It’s simply beautiful. I’m seriously in love with this site and the beautiful women that makes this site positively wonderful .

All of you are beautiful mothers inside and out. I believe women in general should have this kind of love respect n connected we as mothers gives to our fellow mommies.

If we do we wouldn’t have so many nightmares of our body issues n esteem.

So mommies who commented on my entry I THANK YOU ALL for being wonderful to me n my body.

God bless our children and family.
