it has only been 12 weeks…give yourself more time! I am almost 18 months pp with my 2nd, and still losing! Do not diet!!!!!!! A diet never lasts long, and then the weight is gained back. A healthy, well balanced diet should be part of your every day life (with some treats of course!!). Chicken, ground turkey, tuna, fish, wheats (pasta, rice, bread), fruits and veggies (frozen grapes are a yummy snack! Rinse them in cool water, dry off with a paper towel. Put them on a baking tray in the freezer, once frozen you can put them in a zip lock bag in the freezer…yum!), and lots of water and tea :) Don’t worry about exercise yet, just enjoy your baby! Also, don’t make it a chore…think of i as making your body stronger! I think you look awesome…and I love to see other mama’s with the “apron”…I have it too!!!!

Nice breasts and booty! And I can already see your waist line is snapping right back in. Give yourself a bit of time and things will seem more normal I think. You already look great!

My belly looked exactly like this at 12 wks. pp. In fact, it was nearly a year before I felt like everything had shifted back anywhere close to where it was pre-pregnancy (and believe me, it’s not perfect!). Please be kinder to yourself and allow your body time to find herself again, too!

I can imagine the attraction of being back to ‘normal’ but you’re being very hard on yourself! You have nothing to be ashamed of – your body may still show signs of the changes linked to being a mum but you have every reason to be proud of that. Speaking as a guy, I’d be be extremely surprised if your husband didn’t consider you just as beautiful now as before you had children. But it’s sad for both of you if you are being needlessly self-critical and that’s damaging your confidence, so try to see yourself through his eyes and those of everyone commenting here. And believe me, if you still have your bikinis, there’s no reason to not make use of them!

I think you look good… especially your butt!;-) But I understand why you would wanna loose some weight, and don’t worry, you will!!! Someone else commented that don’t make exercise a chore; I really agree with that. Try to find ways you can be active with your baby while enjoying yourself.. it is often commented on here how baby wearing is a very efficient/enjoyable way of getting back into shape. For me, walking is the best way for staying in shape, walking uphill is super efficient! What do you think you will enjoy doing? My advice: focus on how you feel and throw away the scale, it doesn’t do any good! And keep your chin up!
