9 Tips for 9 Months

April 7, 2008

Karly or at First Ourselves has written yet another great post, this one focusing on letting go of the expectations we place upon ourselves as mothers during our pregnancies and our baby moons. Take a moment to read it, and then take her advice – you are unique, as is your body. And that is not only okay, it’s also beautiful.

Occasionally I come to this site when I am feeling particularly bad about myself. I’ve been dress shopping now twice and have come home empty handed. I just get so depressed in those dressing rooms and those dresses are not made for women w/ pouches! I think about surgery but I won’t do it because I want to show my daughter that a perfect body is not the most important thing. Sigh! Sometimes it is hard though. It’s great to be able to visit this site and know I am not the only one out there.
