6 weeks postpartum (Anonymous)

November 19, 2008

I posted an entry about a month ago right after my C-Section and I was terrified that my belly was just going to be a saggy mess forever but it really has improved. Not by much but here is the progress.

Give it a few more months and then by a year pp everything will be much more normal. That was my experience anyways! Congrats on the baby..I just had mine 3 weeks ago.

Wow! A huge improvement already! And it has only been a couple of weeks! Keep taking pictures! You will see the huge improvement and be proud of the improvements!

(I’m still losing weight 2 years later. It takes time sometimes! But the good thing is that you don’t have to expect to fit into your skinny jeans immediately. It’s not possible.)

I looked EXACTLY like that at 6wks PP! Things are on the improve though, although I admit there is a long road ahead. I’m now 5months PP and although I still have the jelly belly my shape has changed a lot for the better :)

[...] Here’s my previous entry with a link to my previous previous entry, ha ha! Slowly, VERY slowly I’m noticing changes in myself. My stretch marks are finally fading and my belly is actually lifting as terrified as I was that it wouldn’t. I’ve been working out and trying to eat as healthy as possible. So I guess we’ll see how it goes! [...]

I’m now 8 weeks post and I think this belly won’t ever be the same.It has gone down but I’m afraid people are telling me that with a c-section the muscular tissue won’t be tight again without surgery. Is this true???
