1 year postpartum with twins

I gave birth to twins last July, time really does fly when you have kids!
My little girl weighed in at 6lb2oz and my little boy at 6lbs14oz. I made it to 38 weeks and had a scheduled c-section. I was huge as you can tell from my pic. I am a pretty small person so it was really rough at the end carrying around of the 53 pounds I gained with the pregnancy. I developed HELLP syndrome at the very end, it wasn’t discovered until the morning of the delivery strangely enough.
I am okay with how my body looks most of the time now, although I do miss my old perfect stomach that I will never have back. I was going to buy a one piece swimsuit for the summer but I thought “why should I cover up my wrinkly twin skin? I should be proud and show off the belly that produced my two absolutely perfect, beautiful babies. 
Although…. if I could get rid of the damn stretchmarks I would in a heartbeat!

wow you look absolutely amazing!! your another twin mom giving me hope my twins will be 7wks old tomorrow. I had twin girls weighing 4lbs 14oz and 5lbs 8oz i was 36.6 wks when i delivered i too posted on here…22, surviving a 2yrs and newborn twins! You look truly amazing!!! wow…i’m just in shock and so happy its possible to have twins and look great once again!!

Some of us have the best of luck, apparently I don’t, now I’m depressed. You look fabolous and Damn what I’d give for my body to be back. Congrats on the Twins.

wow wow wow! i too made it to 38 weeks and 5 days. i am 7 months post partum but still have the belly and the loose skin. you give me hope. perhaps i too will look better as some more time passes.

Just wanted to say you look amazing, you have a beautiful body and a great figure. You should feel very proud of the way you look, stretch marks and all.

why would u need a one-piece?? you look GREAT…better than a lot of the young girls with no children!
